What is your style of photography?

I wouldn’t say I have one particular style! I love shooting high Key, well balanced images that pop!
Just have a look through my portfolio and you will see every shoot is different depending on what my clients want!
I love shooting natural light AND Studio!

How far in advance should I book my session?

Although I can usually accomodate a last minute session, I recommend you book a couple of weeks out so we have time to chat, plan and get your outfits sorted Plus you’ll have time to get your hair/nails done if you like!

Keep in mind you order can take 1-2 weeks for the finished product so if you have a deadline - let me know!

I am so awkward in front of the camera, how will you make me look good?

Totally normal! Most of my clients feel awkward at first but trust me that feeling goes quicker than you think!
I will pose you in a way that flatters you the most and we are constantly moving and changing so you won’t have time to feel awkward anyway - It’s FUN! If you have something your self conscious about just let me know! There is no such thing as an ‘un photogenic’ person!

How many outfits can I bring?

I recommend 3-4 different outfits, We will have a closer look at what suits and if an outfit isn’t working - we will move on to the next.

Can we shoot in the studio plus a location in my session?

Yes! If you need Studio/lifestyle Plus a location we can do it. Let me know upon booking as more time will need to be allocated depending on the location/s

Can you come to our office to take photos of our business?

Absolutely! I often travel with my Kit to businesses and shoot in their space

How long is my Session?

A standard session is two hours with Hair and Makeup. Depending on your needs half or full day sessions are available also.

When do I get my images after I’ve ordered?

I know everyone wants their images straight away. I always do my best to have them to you asap. My turn around time is 1-2 weeks after full payment is received. A lot of time goes into your finished images so If you have an urgent order please don’t leave it to the day to tell me.

Does the session Include all the images?

No. It depends on what collection you go for - I have a variety of different image packages that range from 5 images to 100 images (and trust me you don’t need them ALL). The Images are the product so you can purchase a collection or individually.

Is Hair and Makeup Included?

You can purchase a collection/session including hair and makeup or just the session itself - Totally up to you but having professional hair and makeup for your shoot makes a world of difference

If I purchase a few now, can I get more later?

I suggest you do your session when you are in the position to purchase them right away. Ofcourse if there is an image you regret not selecting at the time of ordering I can retrieve them for a fee. Storage cost $$ and I cannot 100% guarantee I will still have your images on file after a certain amount of time.

How many people can I have in my Session?

As many as you like! A Standard Session includes up to 4 people. There may be an additional session fee for large groups or additional hair and makeup.

I want to do a shoot for my Book Cover, Can I use the images for this?

Yes - this is commercial use so I may have another pricing structure for this depending on the distribution scale. Just ask!

Do you retouch the Images?

Always! I like my work to be a finished product. You can give me any notes you like for specific edits. generally I will soften skin, remove blemishes, clean up floor/background, colour correct. I can also re-shape, remove objects, change colours ++ more!

Will I own the images from my photoshoot?

No. The copyright remains with ‘Lauren Biggs Photography’ . Usually there is no reason for you to own the copyright but we can do up a license agreement if you wish to have the licensing or need it for commercial purpose.

How much do people usually spend on their order?

Everyone is different and has a different budget. I have collections to suit everyone. On average my clients usually spend between $1600 - $2800

Do you offer payment plans?

If you need to pay off your order I can split up payments in 4 instalments of half/ half for you. No worries! I cannot supply your images until the full order is paid though.

Do you travel interstate?

Yes! I love shooting all around - Ill go anywhere! Just ask and Ill send you a quote :)
